Help. Easy Media Creator 10

Hi, i wonder if anyone can help me please. i have just download media 10. when i try to play a dvd it flickers all the time so i updated my drive and its still the same. and when i click on any of the program like photosuite/import photos/slideshow/my dvd or any of the programs i get This program has encounted a problem and needs to close, Roxwizard launcher module has encounted a problem, i have rang tech support and we have run througha number of tests and they cant seem to help me. im using a packard bell easynote H5315 laptop. any help would be a god send, thank you.

Something else I noticed is that you only have 512KB. That is about the minimum for Windows XP but I would expect a memory intensive program, such as Roxio, would barely run with that.

Here is a similar issue but it does take a bios update.

 

Although your computer is DirectX 9c compatible, it is very old when it comes to computers. Update the DirectX 9c to the latest at the Microsoft site. Laptop manufacturers also write and update drivers periodically but it appears that yours is from 2004 and there are no updates. Do not try to update from the nVidia site.

 

After you do a hard drive clean up , anti-malware sweep and checked for viruses, make sure you defrag the hard drive. How much free space do you have on the hard drive?

 

Shut down all running programs including the anti-malware and anti-virus.

 

Do you have any other Roxio program on the computer? If none of that works, time to do a clean install to get rid of all the program traces and reinstall the program fresh. Follow these instructions carefully. Do not have your anti-virus or anti-malware running when installing any program

Hi, Thank you for replying to me. i have 25.34gb free 51% on c/drive. i have no other roxio software on my laptop. i have done everything you listed but im still having the same trouble, everytime i chick on slideshow or any of the programs i get the message " this program has encounted a problem and needs to close/ Roxwizard launcher module has encounted a problem and needs to close. this happens on every media 10 program i try to use, i havent a clue what to try next ???? any ideas please, i would be so grateful.
