rcarnahan
So... I'm reading through this thread since, obviously, I have the same problem with installing the EMC 11 content. I'm on XP, not Vista. I get the distinct impression that there isn't a current workable solution (yes, I've tried the clean install). Am I correct or have I missed something? Jim_Hardin
Yes. Don't be shy, cryptic answers are not helping, just prolonging the thread… What is the exact name of your product? Roxio xxxxx xxxx? If you find and delete the Key, did you then reboot and attempt to install? Did you install or run the Clean Install? You see how we are starving for details that you are leaving out???

Was this a ESD (downloadable) purchase or Disc purchase? As indicated by "Jim_Hardin", please provide more details.
The Family Tecky
There are more than 3 differeent versions of XP. Home Pro MCE 2005 Which version of service pack installed on your system?
rcarnahan
All, Thanks much for your comments. After re-downloading the software and doing a third clean install (and yes, I believe I did what the article said I should do each time), I was able to get Creator 2009 to work. While many of you may find this game of software 'hunt and peck' enlightening, amusing, or even inspirational, I find that with my limited time, plunking down $100 for software that won't install without some significant (for me, anyway) messing around or questions like "which version of service pack is installed on your system" is more than just a little annoying. If I was the only one this happened to, well, then, bad on me. However... Thanks again.

If there are questions, they aren't meant to annoy you. And, we didn't have any problems installing the software and just tried to get you squared away.
