Startup Items And Hard Disk Thrashing Issue

Hello

First i must say just how nice Roxio Creator 2009 is, what a vast improvement.

OK. Since installing RC2009 and the NetFramework 3.5 ( which isnt my favourite installation) I have noticed that my hard disk is getting thrashed a bit, is that due to Roxwatchtray or CPMonitor that load on startup, and if so can i disable them both ? Or is it NETFramework ? and if so how can i get it to leave my disks alone.

NETFramework is nothing, don't understand why you want to blame it for all the worlds woes???

 

Yes those 2 programs can slow things down and can be disabled and never missed.

 

I think a full time audio/video user would be able to make use of them but I don't see any great help for my modest needs.

Yeah NetFrame isnt much of a problem, its just the fear of the unknown, i still am not 100% sure of what it does or doesnt do. That all.

Not with this new system it wont !!! Mind you... i do have a usb floppy drive somewhere
