Unable To Burn More Then One .tivo File

Ted2478

Question

I have a Dell, P4, 2GB RAM, WINXP SP2, directx 9 drivers, latest video/sound drivers. When I used Creator 2009 to burn and single .TiVo file to DVD it works just fine. When I select 2 or more .TiVo files, it will get through most of the encoding process, when the program just closes out, no error messages or anything. I clicked "burn image to disk" and it started this process as well, but never finished the image either. Again, only when burning more then one .TiVo file. I had this same problem with EMC10. I reformatted my entire hard drive, reloaded WINXP, and all drivers. Then installed this program, so is basically like a "new pc" again, and still having this error. Any one else able to burn more then one .TiVo file to DVD without problems?

How long (in time, not size) are the two files?

Generally, one hour video = one DVD at good quality - try to add more and the quality drops proportionately. If they are too long, then you will have the problem you describe

And are you able to burn all these individual files by outputting it as Image? What kind of Video card/chip you have? I would recommend updating video card/chip drivers from mfg as a starting point.

I actually installed a new video card thinking that was the problem, updated the drivers on there, and still having the issue. No, when I try to burn as image file, it gets almost done, then just closes out with no errors, no program hang or anything, just totally closes out. Are you able to burn 2+ .TiVo files OK on yours? It works fine when I do just one .TiVo file, but if I do 2 or more, it has this problem.
