Emc9 Product Key And Activation

Situation: Roxio EMC9 is pre-installed on another machine.

 

Need: Transfer to another computer.

 

Question: How do I retrieve and note down my product key/activation details before uninstalling.

 

Note:

 

Contacting the PC vendor is not an option.

 

There is no installation CD, since the software was pre-loaded on the computer.

 

When I open, say, an 'About' window for a Microsoft Product, such as Office, I can see my product key. How do I go about getting this information for EMC9.

If you don't have a software disc, and you don't have a software downloaded file, how do you propose to transfer it to another computer?

It sounds like you are using an OEM version which is generally licensed to the original PC that it was installed on.
