Keep in mind the ONLY way I know this is because it's under the help help key and... it still doesn't tell me what version I have by way of comparison to what is offered in roxio's software updates.
There's lots of flames on the front of the CD; very helpful. I guess simplicity is a lost cause for the roxio people as I see numerous cute names for all sorts of stuff they make; maybe those cds have acutal names rather than flames.
Anyway, the audio cd function (the only thing I use the programe for) no longer works; it could find a blank disc, tell you what space was or wasn't available and then when you hit the red continue button, nothing would happen except the cd drive lite would come on breifly, and the little windows hourglass would appear for a while then go away. Several tries later, still nothing.
So I uninstalled and then reinstalled the program and additionally....this engine update which, since there's no real information about what I actually own, looked about right:

Now it won't even recognize the drive. Which is by way of window's device manager is working just fine.
So whats up with this?
Nero is soooooo much simpler.
