malatekid
How did you burn the pictures to the DVD? What program did you use? Did you burn them as data? Please provide details. And you want to view the pictures as well on TV? Is that it? What is the full name and version of the Roxio software you have?
fox6060
Have Roxio Creator DE 10.1...obviousl the basic. Trying to get my picture on DVD to play on television. Saw a program called Toast 6 Titanium but it is for Macs. The I saw one called Creator but it looks like I need to have a Blu-ray DVD player. Can Blu-ray DVDs play on regular DVD players? In a real pickle and need someone with much more computer knowledge than I. Thanks Fox
lynn98109
The DE indicates it is a Dell OEM [Original Equipment Mfgr] Version. OEM builders buy the rights to use the software and often have it modified, which means they are the ones who know what is in it. They also contract to support it. I'd suggest you try asking on the Dell Community Forums http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/ Lynn

You say you burned your pictures to a DVD but can't watch them through a DVD player on your TV. You have not told us at all how you burned the photos to the DVD. Did you create a data DVD, a video slideshow or what? You don't need a Blue-Ray burner to use EMC 10 (or Creator 2009). Exactly what do you want to create? I did a data DVD that does show it in a slideshow. I have a newer DVD player but it says can't play it. Want to watch the slideshow on my televsion. It works on my computer so I know I burned the DVD correctly.

You did not create a slideshow - you created a data disc and obviously your DVD player cannot show the pictures as data files. The system player and your DVD player are completely different devices and what works on your computer does not necessarily work on your DVD player.
