Videowave 10 Has Encountered A Problem And Needs To Close

Question

:angry2:

I downloaded Easy Creator 10, my OS is windows prof xp,

ver 5.1 service pack 3, physical memory avail is 3,145,028kb. I can not use

the mydvd or videowave programs. When I click each option it takes me to

the window but when I choose to add picture or add video I get an error message.

"Videowave 10 has encountered a problem and needs to close", sometimes

I get R6025 Error also. When in that error screen it has the option to debug,

send error report or don't send. I says to tell microsoft about this problem.

The screen freezes at this point and I have to end task to get out of it

and sometimes re-boot to open ECM

I have re-installed the program 3 times via download, the last time I

did a clean install. I have removed all other versions of roxio 6 & 7

and sonic software. I don't know if there are any other issues like

burning, playback because I can't move past this point in creating

something.

Please let me know what I can do since I can't get a refund of this

software AND I don't think I should pay for Tech support.

I tried the selfserve site no one availble to help me.

Unfortunately, I downloaded this program to get the good rate so I don't have a disk

This is really disappointing and a waste of money for me.

Intermittent problem are the hardest to diagnosis…

Update your video card drivers and check your DirectX (Start – Run – dxdiag) should be 9.0c.

You may need to do the Clean Install after the updates… Otherwise, try to keep notes which specific program and what you are doing at the time when it throws an error.

Thank you for your input Jim.

I updated my video card drivers it says ATI drivers are upto date and check your DirectX it is 9.0c..

I still can't add video/Photos with out system freezing up and the same error message comes up ("Videowave 10 has encountered a problem and needs to close")

thanks

Where did you buy your download from that you can't get refund?
