O.K., so what's your exact problem ?? To make a multi-session data disk I suggest using "Creator Classic". Add a certain number of files and when you make the options for the burn, be sure and DO NOT opt to close the disc (Do NOT check the box that says "Read Only Disc") That's a must !!

Then after you do the first burn. If later you want to add some additional files to that same disc later, just place it in the drive and open Creator Classic again. The program will recognise that it is an open disc and you should get a pop up window advising same (attachment), and all the old original first burn files will automatically be added to your new project hen you click on that pop up. Then just add some more files and do another burn. Now you will have a disc that has all of the first and second burns on the one disc.

The attachment should show you where and what Icon I am describing when you insert a disc that was burned and the "Read Only Disc" option was NOT chosen.

Ron Wright,

You do have Easy Media Creator 9, which contains Creator Classic, don't you?

If you have a free Basic or cut-down version that came with a computer or burner and doesn't have Creator Classic, perhaps you should go out and buy . . . . . . Easy Media Creator

Frank – good post, you might want to copy it to your HD and save it for later…

Don't you hate it when they Post and Run?

Well, I'll give ron wright a little more time to respond but that happens a lot Jim. One tries to help and then never gets back a response one way or another. I just hope the OP "does" have EMC 9 and has been helped. Although, it could be I errored in my reply some way.

Well you do have a little red wagon for an avatar…

How do you expect to be taken seriously?

Maybe you need a puppy??? post-39730-1224359209.jpg

Colon Powell started the "Little Red Wagon" symbol (America's Promise Alliance) a long time ago and that was pretty serious stuff ;) On the other hand I like dogs too, but not that breed  Hey maybe a big nasty looking Pit Bull would be O.K. for my avatar. Then I could be taken a lot more seriously, huh ?? But then I would be in big trouble with Bruce again !! :D

Thanks for the reply post Ron. So many times we have users that post a problem and ask for help and then after a few suggestions are posted as help, we sometimes never see them again. So we don't know if we helped them or not. In this case it would appear that you just didn't have the Roxio program that had the options to do what you wanted.

Good luck with getting a good up todate Roxio Program.
