Roxio Creator 2009 Special Edition & Backontrack

Conan

Question

I just purchase the Roxio Creator 2009 Special Edition at our local Costco Store. I would like to know (since I am unable to find it anywhere in the software) is the Back On Track 3 included? It looks like it is included with the Ultimate Edition, but I am having a time trying to get that question answered through Tech Support.

Also, if I have to purchase them separately (Creator 2009 Sp. Edit & Back on Track3), how can I merge them, so the Back on Track icon appears on the Creator 2009 screen, when I open it? Thank you for any assistance.

Very few people have this Special Edition which most likely has many of the features of the full package missing. One of these may weel be BackOnTrack. Perhaps someone who has this version will respond.

BackOnTrack is part of the standard Roxio Creator 2009 and the Ultimate edition. Perhaps you can take your version back and get the full version.

As Walt pointed out, we don't really know what it is in that box, however!

BoT is included on the Creator 2009 version as well as the Ultimate. It would be my guess it is included on your Special Edition as well. (it looks like it is Ultimate w/Capture device included)

In the Home app, it is under Data – Backup.

In the Start menu – Roxio~~ Applications – BackOnTrack.

Either of those places show it?

I also have SE. I believe that the basic premise behind the suite is audio / video tools. No disaster recovery or any kind of disk tools

Here is what IS included:

Cineplayer

Creator Classic

Label Creator

Media Manager

Music Disc Creator

MyDVD

Photosuite

Sound Editor

Video Copy and Convert

Video Import

VideoWave

Also included is the Roxio Video Capture USB Device

All in all...a very nice suite...as I said...mainly for Audio / Video Capture, etc.

Thanks Jim...

I would be more than glad to throw in some good thoughts from time to time. I have frequented these boards, and have been a very inconsistent poster...will try to be better and repay all the kindness I have received here. Much I can share...
