First, tell us what program, in that stripped down OEM version of the suite, you are using.

When I click on about I get this

When I click on about I get this

 

It doesn't appear that any of the programs shown, are for video work. Again I ask, what program, in the suite, did you use, or did you not try any of them?

 

As I recall, the DE version did have MyDVD, but it was stripped down.

I do not know it came with the computer.

 

I think it was DVD and video

 

First read this thread from the Dell forums. It may well be a bad install.

 

Look for "MyDVD" on your computer for video; "Creator DE" you have seems to be the audio (CD maker) part of the application that did get installed..
