Burn Multiple Copies Of Same Project

Eva Dee

Question

Hi I'm using Creator Classic (Roxio Easy Media Creator 9) I'm trying to burn muliple copies of the same project. When I click the "burn" button the burn setup window opens where I can choose the number of copies for this project. It doesn't matter what number I choose, it hangs after one burn. I cannot cancel and have to invoke task manager to force my way out of the running application.

I'm running windows XP sp2 and all drivers are up to date.

Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance, E

There is an article for general burning issues here:

I looked there FIRST!

ok let me say the usual stuff, I've already looked through Google, Support and this forum. Maybe I lack the proper search key words. At any rate I haven't found anything that comes remotely close to my issue which has landed me here. Further to that I had an older version of Roxio that worked "sweet" everytime without issue. I'm only having this issue because I'm using this newer version.

Thanks for trying to help.

Please describe your issue further.

If you have used the article above, did you encounter errors in any of the steps?

Please describe the steps you take and any error messages you see.

Have you created a ticket here:

Just click on the hyperlink (the underlined text) in David's post for the KB article on your problem ;)

It's off topic right outta the gate!

[issue

When burning a CD or DVD, you receive an error about your blank disc not being recognized, burning does not complete, or your media is rejected.]

Files to burn: loaded and reflected in Data Disc Project, click on "Burn" (Burn setup window opens) Write Speed (Selected or tried them all) next option (still under general) is "Number of copies for this project:" If i leave this alone I can burn one-offs until the cows come home, if I set any number other than 1 it burns 1, ejects and hangs right there...

If you right click the task bar and click task manager under the applications tab, does it show Roxio running or not responding?

cd

It shows as running. All systems are a go.

Thanks all for trying. I was hoping it might be a simple fix, but it's shaping up to be a doosey, and that's for my IT guy. Please stop responding as I'm handing this off to the pros B)

Thanks again, cheers have a great day!

This was an issue with the EMC 9 version. You don't have the Creator 2009 version, so this thread has been moved.

Had you mentioned that you had EMC 9, instead of Creator 2009, in your first post, a lot of the confusion would have been cleared up, immediately.

I see that you edited your first post, after the fact.
