How can I record songs on an LP to individual tracks instead of the whole album being on one track? I forgot to include the version of software I have. It is Creator 2009. Sorry, this is all new to me. Thanks.

My typical process is to record the LP as a single track (for each side) to my computer. Do all my post processing (de-clicking, de-noising, etc.). Then split the individual tracks apart using CDWAVE (shareware). Now write all the individual tracks to your CD. All done.

Sound Editor in Creator 2009 can do all that fairly easy, too. As Dave points out, much easier to record the entire album as one track. Then have Sound editor to recognize the 'silence' between tracks which can be also adjusted manually. You can then edit track or song titles and burn directly from Sound Editor to an audio CD. If you like , you can also output each track to separate files.
