Problem Making Bootable Dvd

I'm trying to make a data dvd bootable. I created an .img file using ImgBurn but when I burn my DVD with Creator DE and boot from it, I get a 'missing operating system" error. WHen I use explorer to look at the DVD, I only see the two data files I burned, nothing else.

If you created the IMG file with ImgBurn, you should test it by burning it with ImgBurn. If it won't burn and boot properly with ImgBurn then you haven't made it properly.

You have a OEM version. The DE usually means its from Dell, check with them.

 

Roxio never had any full retail versions with DE in its name.
