Plug and Burn Problems

Snippet

Question

Just chiming in. I can't help here.

I cannot burn to a DVD any movie or project longer than about 30 minutes.

I've "Plug and Played" many one hour movies, but when I load in files, create a project, then burn to DVD (Easy Media Creator 10), then nothing longer than about 30 minutes will make it. I get a message saying, "Disk is full. Error burning DVD." The status indicators indicate that there is PLENTY of room on the DVD. I've lowered the output quality to ridiculously low levels - no luck unless the movie is under 30 minutes.

Any ideas?

Your chiming in had absolutely nothing to do with the problem mentioned in the thread that you hijacked!

Burning on the fly is not really a good thing to do. Too many variables between hardware, software, and the computer that can go wrong. Try capturing to your hard drive and burning with MyDVD.

That sounds to me like the hard drive doesn't have enough space for the temp files, not that the DVD disc doesn't have enough space. How much free space is on your hard drive?
