Can't Burn Audio Or Data Cds

jpcool86

Question

Here is the error message I receive when trying to burn an audio or data CD:

There was a problem writing to the disc. You can try again by clicking the Retry button. You will need another blank disc ready.

Show Advanced Info

Sense:00 ASC:00 ASCQ:00 (Command 00)

Px.dll: 4.10.28.500

PxAFS.DLL: 4.8.39.500

PxMas.dll: 4.10.28.500

PxSFS.DLL: 4.8.39.500

PxWave.dll: 4.10.28.500

pxwma.dll: 1,0,0,3

Does anybody else receive this message. I have tried using brand new Verbatim, Sony, and Imation CDs without any luck. I can burn CDs with Windows Media Player, Apples Itunes, Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 & 10. Creator 2009 just won't burn an audio or data CD for me.

Please help.

Thanks.

1. Confirm you have updated version of firmware for your recorder drive from mfg.

2. Try using Creator Classic for burning Data disc

3. Try using Music Disc Creator to burn Audio disc

4. If possible, test with a different recorder drive

See if the above helps.

Thanks for your help. I have already done step1.

I will try steps 2 & 3.

I have 2 internal burners & I get the same error message for both players.

I used Music Disc Creator like you said & it worked almost. I got some error mesages at the end but it successfully burned an audio cd. I didn't write down the error message so I can't tell you what it is.

Thanks for your help.
