stan/evelyn
I am new to this burning program, and have not yet figured out how to add more data like files and photos to a dvd at a later stage, can anyone tell me if this is possible? stan/evelyn
Yes it is possible. Once you have selected the format of Data type, go to Advanced in recording options and choose "Write Session" instead of "Write Disc". However, you need to be aware of the fact that choosing any Mac format will result in sessions mounting as disc. So to say if you have burnt 3 sessions, the original disc will mount 3 discs on desktop representing 3 sessions. The other way out would be to choose ISO 9660 format which will allow you to append data at each burn and still result in single mountable disc. Read help for more details. Thankyou firenhancer Yes it is possible. Once you have selected the format of Data type, go to Advanced in recording options and choose "Write Session" instead of "Write Disc". Thankyou firenhancer I believe that only works with CD media and not DVD media. My understanding is the Mac OS will not recognize multiple sessions on a DVD so Toast will not write them. What I recommend is getting a 4 GB Flash USB drive and use it the way you wanted to burn to a DVD. When it gets full copy its contents to a DVD disc and then erase the flash drive to start again. firenhancer
Tsantee is right (thanks). I failed to mention the above is true for CD media and not DVD media.
