nomark
Your post is very confusing. .DMSM is always been the Videowave production file format. .DMSD has always been MyDVD project file. As for the menu styles in Creator 2009, there are over 80. If you don't have that many, you need to install the Content disc. Yep. You're right. I have to install contents disc. it shows up there ! thanks. DMSM files are produced when you save your Videowave project, they have nothing to do with Videowave output. All version of EMC (from EMC 7 on if not earlier) that contain Videowave will create this file when you save your project. Also All versions of EMC when using myDVD will create DMSD files when you save your myDVD project. If this is not happening for you then you have a corrupt installation. What patch are you talking about for what update? A patch changed version to 4.50.05a from 4.12.00A. I think it is a new build. By the way, In MyDVD Express that was transferred from Videowave doesn't give a chance to save it to DMSD. How can you save after you add Menu ? And, how can I add chapters there too ? I don't see a pane where you can add chapters ? Also, I tried with MyDVD(not express as above), "Edit Chapter" is not even selectable( shadow ). Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance. myDVD Express is a very simple DVD authouring program and offers very few features as you are discovering. If you want to save your production, menus and chapters, use myDVD. In my DVD to edit chapters, right select a title and select "edit Chapters" from the drop-down menu
Jim_Hardin
You had a working application and you updated it because??? If it isn't in the Add/Remove, I would try installing 2009 again. Last resort – Clean Install. I am curious what is a "for ROXIO 10 DMSM format"?

ROXIO 10 has only DMSM only. but ROXIO 9 has both DMSD(with menu) DMSM. I re-installed to get my DMSM work again, now it works again. You had a working application and you updated it because??? huh.gif Yeh, it is patch for update. Should I apply patch regardless it work or not in order to uptodated ? right ? I hope EMC can update patch again. by the way, where is Menu style that exist in ROXIO 10 ? How can I re-use Menu style from ROXIO 10 ? ROXIO 2009 removed most of them and want me to buy it, but it leads Web Home page not to "Menu Style purchase" and I don't know where to buy. Nice design EMC !
