I Want To Transfer Photos To Cd

305Buck

Question

I am new to this process, so, here goes. I went on a trip last year to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and have approximately 450 photos. I want to transfer these photos onto a CD, create a slide show, and then send the CD to my friends. The idea is that they can then plug the CD into their DVD/CD player and see my photos on their TV. I am considering the purchase of the new Creator 2009. My question: Is Creator 2009 the program that I need? 305Buck

Don't use a CD to create a slideshow, not all DVD players will be able to play it. You can burn the pictures to a CD as data files and some DVD players will be able to view them. The DVD players have to be able to use jpegs though. This would of course not be a "slideshow"

Creator 2009 is the program to use for a creating a slideshow and burn it to a DVD.

For those who do not have DVD player and want to play the slideshow on their computer, you can output the slideshow created in Creator 2009 as WMV format. You can then burn this WMV video clip onto CD that can be viewed using Windows Media Player.

The OP wants his friends to view it on a TV not on a computer so wmv format will not work
