Burn Dvd + Dl Error

I have been getting a message when trying to burn double layer DVD+R DL disks, any manufacturer, have tried . . .

 

have tryed last day i have this message:

 

Mac OS ERROR Result Code -5001

 

And today i buy other dvd +dl brand than i got this message:

 

sense key=medium error. sense code=0x73, 0x03

 

Im using a MACBOOK PRO 2.5 with MATSHITA UJ-867

 

Its compability of my drive with ROXIO TOAST TITANIUM 9 ?

 

Or brand compability ?

 

If someone could help me i apriciate a lot!!!

Medium error = mostly brand incompatibility. However,

 

1. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaner

2. Try using something like Verbatim

3. Try creating a disc image first and then try burning the saved disc image to the disc.

i buy today SONY DVD+R DL and works fine!!! Without creat disc image, just copying the VIDEO_TS folder...

 

So its only compatibility from MATSHITA UJ-867 with some Double Layers discs...
