Video Copy & Convert

clhooven

Question

I select and a movie either ISO or VOB files. I have selected DiVX or WMV, turn off all the subtitles and other languages and hit the "save as" button to write the file to the hard drive. The progress bar goes to 100% in like 2 seconds and the close button comes on. No errors or files get created. This worked for the first day after installing but now this is happening. I am running on Windows XP SP3

Thanks

Chris

Please explain what you are trying to do  and what you are doing a bit better. I have no idea what this means "I select and a movie either ISO or VOB files"

I start Video Copy & Convert

Click "Add movie" button

Select either an ISO image or a directory with VOB Files(created when authoring a DVD to a Directory)

I select the Move (Title) I want in the on the Right hand side of the Media Selector Dialog box.

then I click OK

then I click the Language Options... Button and only select English with no subtitles(clear the other check boxes if present)

then on the left hand side of the Video Copy & Convert window I select DivX or WMV9 as the format:

For Output TO: I select File/Folder

then I hit the Save As... Button and select my documents directory

hit OK

I get the Dialog box that used to convert the movie but now the progress bar goes from 0 to 100% right away and there are no errors and no output file is created.

When I duplicate your instructions, it works fine when I use a movie from a Video_TS folder but it does not work when I use the movie in the iso file.

This worked for me fine, with either Movie format ISO for Video Folder, the day i installed the software (Friday night). This whole reason I switched from Nero.

But the next day when I tried it I get what I described. I have reinstalled twice now and still have to same problem. I burn to a DVD fine but what I am doing is converting all my movies to WMV files so I can keep then on my NAS and watch them using my Xbox and media extender.
