Finally Installed Creator 2009

Well I have tried everything mentioned on this chat, I even went back to costco and exchanged my copy for another. I installed the new copy and it still hung at the part when it said "installing creator 2009" and then rolled back. Now I put my computer specs back to normal, example the start up and so on... So finally i had photo software and other video software installed on my computer that i uninstalled, and i even ran the fix for disc error "need EMC 10". I restarted the computer so it was fresh, put the cd in and bang it installed. So for you that are having an issue, try uninstalling any photo,video or music software. Hope this helps, and thanks to all for giving me input.

I also "thought" I was having problems installing Creator 2009..

 

Deal here is this.. Windows Vista, fast computer..

 

I got the Roxio Creator 2009 DVD and tried to install..

 

Everything went OK till I got to the EMC 11 Content. After 4 hours I gave up and cancelled..

 

Turns out, about bedtime.. I closed all other applications / programs etc.. and put the install DVD back in my computer and let it EAT... went thru all the same stuff till it got to the installing EMC 11 Content.. I left it on and went to bed..

 

Low and Behold I got up the next morning and said installation was successful.. and I think it was, have been using with no problems since then..

 

I have a dual processor with over 3gig speed.. Amazing..
