Download speed has nothing to do with Roxio but is mainly a function of your ISP and your system. That being said, it is possible that the download server is slow at the moment. When I downloaded it took about 25 minutes

The filesize you are downloading seems not right. Are you downloading the Standard or the Ultimate version. There are also 2 files involved in the download.

I purchased my Creator download at 3:01 PM today and started the download and install. Needless to say the setup program is still running. Not only was the download EXTREMELY slow (I am on cable modem) but the Microsoft .Net download and install took over 3 hours. It is now still installing Creator 2009 (it is 9:53 PM), the HDD light is going like crazy, and I have no idea what on earth this install program is doing. I hope this is not a preview of how the software is going to work. So far the user experience is terrible. The routines to take my money went pretty smooth though.

What dotNET download?? The program itself has dotNET 2 and 3.5 built in and doesn't require a prior installation.

In fact, dotNET 3.5 SP1 actually removes a critical file from the system and causes problem on install

Can you extract the contents of the two files (use Winrar or Winzip) to a folder and run setup.exe from there? If they don't extract, you have a corrupted download

Thanks for the response...the install finished at 10:33 PM and after a Windows Media Player update, reboot, and Creator SP 1 download and reboot, I'm up and running. Just edited a video, software works fine. Install was quite painful but as long as it works I'm happy.

I hope that you backed up that downloaded file(s) to a DVD.
