I've been using Creator 2009 for about a week and I'm haveing a problem while converting audio tags with the Audio Converter. I've been updating over 20,000 mp3 files and the tag converter has worked flawlessly for all but a couple of files. However, when I convert the files and relocate them on the same internal hard drive ina new folder, the process DRAGS even though it shows speed as 19x (on a new Intel Core Duo running XP pro). I convert only a couple of hundred files at once, and after about 150 conversions (which can take an hour at least), the process window displays an error. The 'Position:' data begins to read 71825560 min 9 sec and 'Speed:' data reads 999.9x while the conversion continues. The wrong data consistently occurs every time I convert more than 150-200 files in one batch (Total time for output on the bottom left of the window only reads 1533:48).
PLEASE tell me how to speed up this process. I've shut down other processes and the CPU is pinned at 100%. Is there any way to have Roxio rename the existing files with the new inforamtion rather than moving the revised files to a new location? Any other suggestions?
Also, can the converter utility add files by selecting a subdirectory? It appears that I have to select each file indivually to be added to the converter.
