Video Ending Too Soon

This is really lame.

 

I noticed this problem while playing a DVD of my project. When the video neared the end it cut-off the last few seconds. Here's what I've found:

 

In the Palette window under the Media tab I can read the duration of imported m2v video as, for example, 22:55:41. Audio file is exactly the same duration. However, once I drop them into the timeline, I notice under the General Tab in the Movie Attributes window the length is shorted to 22:43:28. (3 out of 5 of my Titles are doing this.)

It's true that DVD video playback always cuts off the last 2 seconds of your

timeline (always have 3 seconds on the end) but that seems like a lot

more.

 

is it always the same amount that it cuts off?

 

what happens if you add that much black to the end...does it end on time?

I'm afraid the video cuts off a minimum of five seconds, some as many as fifteen seconds.

ok so what happens if you add 15 seconds of black to the end?

 

I would do that until the problem is solved.
