Question

HELLO PEOPLE..YOUR HELP PLEASE..

I RECENTLY INSTALLED CREATOR 2009..WHEN I ATTEMPT TO PLAY OR EDIT THE VIDEOS I HAVE DOWNLOADED FROM MY JVC EVERIO IN 'MY DVD, THERE IS A CONTINUAL BROKEN NOISE WHICH SOUNDS LIKE INTERFERANCE..THE VIDEO HOWEVER PLAYS FINE..???

VIDEOS FROM MY DIGITAL CAMERA ARE FINE..

I HAVE ALREADY CONVERTED THE FILES USING 'SDCOPY' TO NO AVAIL..

YOUR HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED..

First make sure you updated DirectX 9 IF you are using WinXP. Not needed in Vista.

Make sure you have the latest driver for your sound card. There was an issue like this in EMC 9 with nForce audio, but that was resolved with updated drivers.

If neither of those help, try installing the open source AC3 filter. It really isn't needed since C2009 has its own AC3 codec, but it certainly wouldn't hurt anything to install it.
