Oilseed
OK, so how is this done I've looked all over (the program and this forum) and can't figure this out. I created a video clip (not too big) and I want to give copies (burned DVD's) to friend and others, have them just place DVD in player and let it AUTOSTART with NO MENU. How do you do this thanks

Oilseed
In myDVD, select File/New Project/DVD, no menus on the menu bar Hi Walt, Thanks for the reply. Hmmm, I'm confused. There is no such option on the program I'm running. I have version: MyDVD9 (Build 901B16Y ENU) I launch the program and I can see the FILE/NEW PROJECT/DVD and that's all. There is NO option for '"no menu" (at least I cant see it). Do I have some strange version of the program? I can take a (screen snapshot) and email it to you. (how does one 'paste' an image here in these posts??? I can't seem to do this? Thanks
malatekid
Looks like your version of MyDVD9 does not have that option which is available in the MyDVD program included in Creator 2009.

Hmmm, on closer inspection I seem to have the BASIC edition (both Creator Basic and MyDVD Basic v9) I'll have to see if I can upgrade. ? Seems like a funny function to leave out. You'd think it was the other way around (basic version give NO MENU and full version provides MENU features.

gi7omy
If it's an OEM version (supplied by a hardware maker - either a drive or bundled with the computer) what is included or omitted is down to the supplier unfortunately. They say what they want and that's what they passed along to you
Oilseed
I've already created the video clip (with some added elements (text) to the movie I made. Can I port this 'finshed' version over to a different program?

Can I port this 'finshed' version over to a different program? Open up Windows Movie Maker to see what formats it accepts, then output your MYDVD clip to a format WMM accepts, then output from WMM for use in their DVD Maker Program.
