Help W Videowave's Output Frame Size

GoldenTequila

Question

Hi,

First of all, thank you to all kind people here that help out others. The last time I needed help, I received very helpful tips.

This time, I am facing a problem with videowave's output frame size. I have a mpeg-2 video, whose frame size is 1792x1120. This is actually something I'm using as vista's dreamscene background. All I'm wanting to do is to change its Hue so that it looks more vivid with deeper colors. So, I increase the Hue and choose Output As. The problem is here. I must choose mpeg-2 because that's the format used by dreamscene. But, when I choose mpeg, the output frame size goes only up to 720x576. I don't want to reduce the frame size because the video is not going to look clear on my big screen, so I need to keep it at 1792x1120. Does anyone know a workaround for this? Thank you.

A little help please; I thought that Vista's Dreamscape was a way of using a video as a computer monitor's background. Are you referring to a monitor when you say "my big screen"?

In Video Wave, start a new project as wide screen (16 by 9), do your editing and when you go to output, you should see many more mpg2 file size options.

Hi.

Thanks for the input. I actually thought about trying 16:9 mode, but every time I loaded my video in that mode, videowave added extra black parts on both sides, and I didn't want them. So, I didn't bother going forward with 16:9 mode. I guess that's the only way to get a bigger frame size?

Yes but you can use a colored background of your choice via adding a colored panel (or another video) and then putting your video as an overlay. Adjust to size.
