This Worked For Me After Trying Everything Else.

Step 1- Un-Install the Net Frame work 3.5 if you have it installed.

Step 2- Create a new account on your computer with administrative authority.(Guest account wont work because a guset can't install anything)

Step 3- Click on "start" then where it says "search for programs" type in msconfig

Step 4- Click "start up" then hit the "dissable all" then hit "apply" then your computer will ask you to restart. When you restart log in to the other account you created and retry to install! I hope this works it did for me after trying everything else.

Ok, The error I had was when I would install the CD it would just install about a quarter ways and then it would "Installation was inturrupted, please try at a later time" If you do not have NetFrame Work 3.5 then why don't you just skip to the rest of the steps and see if that works?

All of us have installed 2009 and not a one of us had a problem. That is why we are asking so many questions.

 

We are trying to see where the specific problem is in that it is a pre-existing condition that no one encountered during testing and initial roll out.

How did you remove it? Was it listed in Add Remove Programs? Did you download it and install it, or where did it come from? Was it Dot Net 3.5 Sp1 or Dot net 3.5.

Please what version did you show listed in add remove programs? Where did you get it from, because Vista and Vista SP1 didn't put it on my machine.
