maureenf
I have a Mac and have downloaded a movie that is longer than my 2 hr dvd. Using Toast 9 I tried to drag it from my hd and it says that the movie isn't formatted - how do I rectify this. Thanks, Maureen
tsantee
The movie is an avi. I was using the toast 9 and had it on dvd-video. It says file is unformatted and cannot be exported. I drag it into the space and it sits there, but there is no button showing to record. I don't understand why Toast would say anything about the video being exported when using the DVD-video setting in the Video window. There is no export option. Also, the tern "unformatted" doesn't make sense to me. What language version of Toast are you using?
maureenf
Please describe what settings you are using in Toast and exactly what the Toast message is. I'm not familiar with a message that a movie isn't formatted. What format is the source movie? The movie is an avi. I was using the toast 9 and had it on dvd-video. It says file is unformatted and cannot be exported. I drag it into the space and it sits there, but there is no button showing to record.

If it has DRM protection, it cannot be burned to a disc except by the program that you used to download the file.
