Help Needed

Hi all after spend along time editing and adding all me edited videos to mydvd and designing my project i hit the burn button and i burn it to a disc it completes the burn and i hit the ok button so i eject the disc and insert it again to see if it plays but it says the disc is empty

please help.

Not quite sure but try this. When you go to burn from My DVD, select to create an ISO file; name it and where you want it to be created. Download the free VLC player and let it play the ISO file. If it looks OK, then attempt to burn the ISO file to a disc using "Creator Classic" or "Video Copy and Convert". If it burns, then you have your disc. If you need more copies, just repeat the burn of the ISO file.

 

If it does not burn, then there is a problem with the disc or with the burner. Do not use Memorex or store brands. Make sure your burner will burn the the disc format -R or +R. See what the burner manufacturer recommends although the preferred seems to be Taiyo Yuden (not usually in stores_ or Verbatim. Get a couple of RW discs to play with.

 

If they don't burn, you may have to update the firmware for that burner - be careful, you can make a small door stop if you are not careful. If that doesn't work, the burner may be bad.
