Robberino
Hi I just purchased Roxio creator 2009, I have 8 60 min DV tapes I have transfered to my HDD. Does each tape need a Separate DVD? or is there a way of fitting more on one? Thanks.

I'm assuming that you want to play on a standard DVD player. Data discs are limited by file size. DivX will allow you to put much more on a DVD but you need a player that will handle DivX format. Are you going to do any editing of those DV files? Use Video Wave to cut out what you don't want and to add transitions, music, images, overlays, etc. Use MyDVD to burn the files to a DVD with or without menus. Robberino
So I guess I will have at least 8 DVD's! I have a Blue-Ray player but not a Blue-Ray burner, Does blue-ray hold more?

Yes, you will have 8 DVDs, unless as was suggest above, you compress to a lower bit-rate/quality. Blu-Ray holds more, but I don't know if there's a format for DVD quality on a Blu-Ray disc that's playable, I'll have to leave that answer to someone else. ggrussell
Bluray is about 25GB so you could conceivably put 6 one hour standard definition videos @Best quality on one Bluray disc.
Robberino
Thanks for the help, I guess 8 dvd's it is! It's going to suck to watch my honeymoon on 8 dvd's, but next life I will remember to shoot less video. LOL! My camcorder is not HD, is it worth it to burn on a Blue-ray or just stick to the standerd dvd? With creator 2009, do i just need the blue-ray plug in for it to work with a blue-ray burner? My only thought there is, when will you be sitting down to watch all 8 hours in one sitting! I usually want to get up and stretch my legs after an hour anyway, which is a good excuse to change the disc!
