Creator 9

I have Roxio creator 9 and use windows xp. If I eject the disc it asks leave open or close a disc to read in all computers. I can't use that disc again, even in my computerif I close. When I uninstalled creator I could only play discs, not record. Still a novice

That text, "close a disc to read in all computers" is only found in D2D which was last used 3 versions ago... It is not 2009.

 

There is a discussion about closing in the Tips & Tricks for V9. Basically it didn't work for most people and is totally unnecessary anyway.

Which version do you have: Roxio Creator 2009 or EMC 9? These are completely different suites.

 

What program did you use to write to the disc? Roxio easy media creator 9

 

What do you mean by "If I close a disc to read in all computers I can't use that disc again"?when I eject the disc it asks how do I want to eject-leave open or close

 

If you close a disc you of course cannot add anything more to it but your should be able to read it on any computer.

 

Please explain a bit more what exactly you are doing by referring to the programs you are using and their full names please

If you cant tell us what version you have, how can anybody help you. Do you have a friend/neighbor/coworker who can come over and help you answer the basic questions that you were asked.
