Overall Progress Stops At 97%

bball661

Question

When burning to an IMAGE or buring to a DVD the overall progress stops at 97%. The only way to exit is to do the Ctrl-Alt-Delete and end the program. When i pull the DVD it will play in the computer but not in a DVD player for the TV. Any thoughts?

I was able to make DVD's no problem with Creator 9&10, this started about two weeks ago when I upgraded to 2009 Speacial Edition. I have even uninstalled the 2009 version and it still happens.

Please tell us what your computer specifications are and check on the following software and hardware for current updates:

Video driver -- check the manufacturer's site

DVD/CD driver - check the manufacturer's site

Directx - check with Microsoft

Finally, what media are you using?

Are you burning a two step process, first burn the image, then burn the image to the DVD?

If you stop the process and the DVD isn't finished writing and closing the disc, no a settop player won't play it.

What version/versions are on the PC? When you uninstalled Creator 2009 or EMC V9, V10 did you follow these (links in my signature)?

10. Clean install instructions for Creator 2009 on Windows Vista

11. Clean install instructions for Creator 2009 on Windows XP

12. Clean Install Instructions for Easy Media Creator 9 & 10 on Windows Vista

13. Clean Install Instructions for Easy Media Creator 7.5, 8, 9, 10, on Windows XP

Are you doing anything different using 2009, than the way you were able to make them work in Creator 9&10?
