i recently purchased a new PC I'm trying to just listen to audio on web sites i visit or just listen to anything available. my pc came with roxio creator de10.2 how do i turn on the volume? i turned the volume to hightest level in my task bar i still cant hear any audio on my pc. can anyone please help an old disabled veteran out?i also turned the volume up on my roxio software

Can you hear anything on your pc? Here's a link to a website that always has some audio on, click on the "listen live" in the upper right portion to see if you get audio:

What program in the suite are you using to listen to internet sites?

Roxio has nothing to do with internet (streaming) audio. That version of Creator 10.2 is a OEM version and probably has nothing at all to do with audio and has no audio applications.

 

Are you trying to capture streaming audio for saving to your computer and or for burning a CD? See if one of your choices is "Capture Audio from Sound Card (Easy Audio Capture). I doubt that you have that.

 

The audio device set up for a Vista OS is much different from one for an XP set up. Read this.. Read options 4 through 7.
