Screen Resolution Probs

OK - having spent best part of 11 hours actually getting the programme to work - I now have so many problems using it I'm thinking of throwing the towel in & giving up:

 

Everytime I go into Creator, my screen size changes without me doing anything, so the resolution is way too big for the programme to work - then I spend on average about 20 mins whilst I try to change it or the PC does it automatically - so I switch between a blank screen, to simply HUGE writing, then back to what it should be (usually without touching the keyboard).....

 

Then after spending best part of 3 hours getting a photo slideshow built - I cannot burn iot to a disc, as the screen size is all over the place & refuses to let me actually see what I am trying to acheive.

 

Any ideas anyone??!

Make sure that you are set to 96 dip. Right click on a blank spot, on your desktop, click on Properties, click on Settings, then click on Advanced. You should see your dpi setting, and it should be set to 96 DPI. If not, change it to 96.

 

If that doesn't work, disable video acceleration, for your video card.

The PC resolution is set correctly at 96 - but as soon as Creator loads - the screen goes blank & then loads Creator at a huge size (even tho dpi is still shown at 96) - the screen resolution is then shown at 800x600 pixels instead of 1024x768 - without me physically changing anything on the PC (other than loading Creator)

 

This is causing problems - as I can't physically see half the options on Creator - as the screen is too big. I'm hopping between Creator & the appearance settings to keep adjusting the resolution, but each time I click on an application in Creator - the screen goes huge again!

Update your Video Card Drivers.

 

After rebooting, go slow. Go through the Start menu to Roxio – Applications and pick Creator Classic.

 

What happens?

 

If good, close and pick Home.
