My Dvd For Cannon Supplied With Dc10

Question

Hi All,

I seems to be having the same problem with My DVD for canon supplied with my canon DC10. I purchased the product in Jan 2006. I have almost 10 mini DVD recordings. I am able to playback the unedited version on my camcoder itself. I finalised one of the DVDs and then copied the files into my PC which I find are .VOB files. I was hoping to open them in movie maker which i am not able to. Then I tried to install the software given along with the camcoder. The installation itself is getting stalled after some time. Can anyone help please. I am in a situation where I am not able to a) edit any of the recordings and make it into a movie B) not able to view them on my PC.

Hi,

I received roxio MyDVD for Cannon made by roxio by sonic solutions along with the cannon DC 10 camcoder that I purchased. I am not able to install it. I am not able to even check what version of the software is supplied. Is there a cupport number that I can call. I live in UK now.

Since this is an OEM version made for Canon you will have to contact Canon for any help with it. OEM version are usually crippled version of the full, retail product and have many of the features disabled.

In the meantime if you were to list your computer specs (similar to what I have in my signature) perhaps someone here might be able to help.

Please only one thread per "problem"

What is "movie maker" or are you referring to Windows Movie Maker? If WMM cannot play the vobs then there is something wrong with those files.
