Scene Selection

gazzol

Question

I have a simple need. I have Easy Media Creator 2009.

I'm trying to clean up VHS Camcorder video tape. There's those spots where the original footage was stop/started and you have those fuzzy blanks in the recording. I would like to have the software automatically delete the fuzzy recording.

I have tried repeatedly to work through scene selection and cinemagic. Neither will automatically clip those blank fuzzy pieces out of the video. It seems like something rather easy that the software should be able to do, but I haven't figured out how to do it.

Hopefully someone can help

Many thanks in advance.

Lou

Can't be done with this software nor with any software that I know of. It is not as easy as you think

You will have to delete those "fuzzy pieces" manually using Videowave. Also forget about using Cinemagic for any serious video work - use Videowave for editing etc and myDVD for crearing menus and burning to DVD.

Thanks.

Just want to check. I have a segment with three "fuzzy" spots. I insert that segment into videowave three times and "trim" the pieces. Is there a better way where I just delete pieces off of one segment?

Why would you think you have to load the same clip 3 times???

From the questions you are asking it would appear that you are not even trying to use the software but just asking questions... If you had tried it, the first time, it would be pretty obvious.

As long as you don't do a Output As your original clip is never touched. Even Save or Save As in VW do not alter the original in any way, shape or form.

Have you read any of the Tips & Tricks posts in this and the EMC 9-EMC 10 forums? There is a good post there on how to remove commercial froma video which is what you are basically trying to do with your "fuzzy pieces" There is no need to add the clip 3 times.
