zulutech
this software finally worked on my PC for a while, then I got the error message that Runtime was terminated for some reason or another, I am told to clean uninstall, I do , twice, then a clean install, but no, CD Key issue, then another clean uninstall, still no, so then I find another forum and a fix I downloaded, finally a clean install, but what do I have then? The same error message that got me started 5 hours earlier, so that was a waste of time. Another forum says that " you may have to do this uninstall reinstall a few times before it will work right" You got to be kidding, why are we paying for this stuff? I have never heard of such a problematic piece of software. This Roxio stuff gets so infested into the works of our PCs that it cant even be fixed by the support teams. I have no doubt that I will be ejected from the "Roxio" site because I refuse to waste so much of my time and money without giving my honest opinion, but really what do I have to lose now? I have another couple of CD coasters for $70 to go with the half dozen that were ruined with the program and about 10 hours of misery to go with it, so you cant hurt me much more than that now can you. cdanteek
I guess the question is, do you have a specific question you'd like to ask? You never asked for help but were just ranting Yes, he did! zulutech, "R6025 -pure virtual funtion call " http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/MyDVD/000110CR What version is it? 'To check your version of Creator, run any program in the Creator Suite and choose About This Software from the Help menu. The second line will display your version number.' cd
zulutech
Yes, he did! zulutech, http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/MyDVD/000110CR What version is it? 'To check your version of Creator, run any program in the Creator Suite and choose About This Software from the Help menu. The second line will display your version number.' cd Easy Media Creator 9, running XP SP3 (which is the only thing changed since EMC 9 worked on my system, it used to be SP2). I did another complete clean uninstall and reinstall and again have 2 error messages: one is RoxWatchTray9.exe Runtime error followed by the 6025 error and the same with VideoWave.exe. I have to admit that I assumed since I was logging on to Roxio to get here that I was ranting to those who might have some vested interest in its programs, now I know that I was screaming at deaf ears so my appologies on that front. zulutech
Clean Install - http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/WinOnCD/000...R?set-locale=en Well I did this twice following it to the "T" and still got the same message. I did notice that there were 2 other "sonic type folders in my registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sonic Solutions and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SonicSonic MPEG-2 Video Decoder could that be a problem? I am struggling with the idea that Roxio is so deep into my PC that I can not control it, I know of no other software that is this problematic to uninstall, lots of time wasted
zulutech
Clean Install - http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/WinOnCD/000...R?set-locale=en I found a "fix" for the cd key problem, so I was able to install. but I ended up with the same error message as before in my initial post except that there was an additional error message "R6025 -pure virtual funtion call " for what its worth Also when I went to my account to see what I have registered I noticed that the Key for EMC 9 Suite is different than the one I have on my CD jacket. Any thoughts?
