Lizst
Which application in Copy & Convert 3 did you "save your DVDs to disc" with? If you don't know the name of the application, what menu item did you use to do it? What sort of images did you save, pictures or disc images? The place for cached files depends on the application which cached them. Hi Brendon, thanks for reply - i'm using SONIC Plus application - saving DVD's films as a Discs Images on hard drive as Global-Images, .gi It tells me IMAGE is saved in Documants and Settings\HP_Administrator\My Documents.... A file does not really get "full" but your hard drive certainly can. How much free space do you have on your hard drive? Doesn't each save create a separate .gi file? How much free space do you have on your hard drive? Doesn't each save create a separate .gi file? Hard Drive has 80% free space, and yet when I want to save DVD an image it tells there is not enough space on hard drive. thanks - lizst

Is your hard drive formatted as FAT32 or NTFS? If as FAT32 then no file can exceed 4GB which it would if you are creating an image file of a DVD which is 4.7GB. Lizst
Hi, there was an error writing the image to your hard drive. Make sure you have 3.7GB free on any of your hard drives, then try to copy again. Well that's what I get. But I think I should be able to locate where the images are strored? Thanks Lizst
Brendon
Hi Brendon, thanks for reply - i'm using SONIC Plus application - saving DVD's films as a Discs Images on hard drive as Global-Images, .gi Hello there Lizst, If you can't find your cached .GI files, it might be because Windows has hidden the folders where they're saved. "It tells me IMAGE is saved in Documants and Settings\HP_Administrator\My Documents...." That doesn't help me, because the interesting part of the address has turned into a line of dots . . . . You haven't said what Operating System you're using, but here's what to do in XP. You should be able to find the equivalent in you're in Vista. Run 'My Computer' Go to the top toolbar 'Tools" >Folder Options >View Click on 'Show hidden files and folders' Uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types' Click ok Now search for *.GI and you should find the sneaky secret folder where your .GI files are being saved, Regards, Brendon
