"directx Setup Internal Error"

I'm running windows XP and when installing the Creator 2009 I receive a message "Directx setup internal error" and will not continue to install software.

I'm having the same problem with DirectX....but when I go to Win 32 I do not have a file matching your description...not a happy camper because when I try to install 2009 it gets to starting set up then gives me error code 000D....any advice. I have done the clean install

I'm having the same problem with DirectX.... i GET DIRECT X 9 RUNTIME AND SAYS IT WONT INSTALL????

iM NOT TAKING MUCH TIME OUT FOR THIS ,,,, THEY CAN HAVE IT BACK, i HAD ROXIO SONIC INSTALLED BEFORE WHY WONT IT INSTALL

For starters guys, DirectX is a Microsoft app - the problems you are having could be graphics related.

 

What are your graphics cards (along with CPU speed and RAM)
