I've read through many of the threads on this forum, but I haven't found a solution yet. I have Easy CD Creator version 10.2. I am trying to create a DVD of a large AVI (11G) that I captured from a VHS tape using a Pinnacle MovieBox capture system. I am using a Dell XPS 420 with a quad processor to run Roxio. I am able to load the file into a project. I am not performing any edits (i.e. just burning the original to DVD format). When I start the burning process, the application begins to encode the movie. All 4 processors run at about 70-80% during the encoding process. Also, there is no video present in the preview pane during the encoding process. The program appears to encode at incremental steps until it reaches about 20-25%. Then, the progress bar jumps to 100% to indicate the encoding is complete. I dismiss the dialog using the 'OK' button, but the DVD is still blank. During this entire process, no error messages are generated. Based on the various threads in this forum, I have also tried using 'software' encoding instead of 'hardware' encoding without success.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
