Merging Video In Videowave, Creator 2009 Ultimate.

Ironhead

Question

Hi.

How can I create a new video from different videos on different tracks?

I want to 'merge' extracts from 2 different video clips so that they will run as one video clip, i.e. One over the other, not before or after.....I suppose a sort of overlay.

Many thanks. Ironhead.

VideoWave: Something has to be on your Video track then you add the rest to the Overlay tracks.

But keep in mind that Overlay means what it says… You are laying something OVER whatever is 'above' it. – the last overlay track sits on top.

Hi. When playing back, I want to be able to see one clip through the other. I have done what you are suggesting but I only get to see either whats on the video track or whats on the overlay when I play back?

You're half way there. :) Select the overlay and click on VIEW/SETTINGS. Then select the second Tabl that looks like a crosshair. There you can resize the overlay, change the transparency and more.

You can also resize the overlay by grabbing any of the tiny red squares in a corner of the overlay and draggin inward or outward. You can move the overlay by grabbing anywhere within the overlay image and dragging.
