I have a number of HDTV files in TS format that may be up to 16GB in size, I want to edit then convert these files to a more compact format. What normally happens is that I import the file into VideoWave, this is then converted (by VideoWave) into a MPEG file. I then edit the file and convert it into MPEG4 720P (quality and with a small size). Everything works correctly if the original TS file is less then 5GB in size. If the TS file is more then 5GB then the VideoWave will truncate the file the MPEG output.
Am I doing something wrong here? Is there a setting that lets me increase the size of the editable file?
PS: I have a dual core machine with 4GB of RAM and 250GB of hardware disk free so I don’t have any resource constraints.
