Dvd Colored Verticle Bands On Menus

Update 11/25/08: The vertical colored bands appear when I open "Create DVD". I checked each Menu style and find the same vertical bands on almost all of the menu styles. These bands are burned into the DVD when it is created. Any thoughts?

 

 

 

Using EMC 9 on a Dell E1505 Laptop. Windows XP with all updates. Windows Live OneCare as virus and firewall (etc) program. When I create a DVD I get vertical colored bands on both slide show and video menus. First few seconds of slide show have a sever and unwanted flicker. How can I resolve these issues? I have been attempting to Burn a quality DVD using various Sonic/Roxio software versions since 2006. The issues have changed over the years but they have not yet been resolved. I would truly appreciate your assistance to resolve the colored bands and flicker issues.

 

I have jumped through every hoop. Formatted my HD X 2, replaced my DVD burner, downloaded firmware, upgraded various drivers and installed and reinstalled EMC 9 using "How to perform a clean install for Easy Media Creator versions 7.5 and higher on Windows XP."

Dell INSPIRON E1505 Laptop. Intel Core Duo processor T2300 2MB/1.66 GHz/667 MHz

Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950 GM

60 GB HD 5400RPM SATA with 60% free space

1 GB DDR2, 533 MHz 2 Dimm

Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition - Fully Updated

8X DVD +/- RW Drive

 

ROXIO

EASY MEDIA CREATOR 9 SUITE Multicolored Orange to light Yellow Box Inside Label EMC 9 SUITE/EU

2 CDs Content and Program purchased from Sonic/Roxio

Did you update your video drivers, back in May, when it was recommended that you do so?
