I am having a hard time figuring out some of the effects when using Roxio Creator 2009, Editing Video - Advanced.

I wanted to make a slide show that includes pictures and videos. To start off I chose a picture I wanted to play for 5 seconds. Next I wanted to insert a 3 minute song. When I add the song in, it will only play for the 5 seconds that the picture played for. I wanted the song to play for the full 3 minutes so I could adjust the pictures and video along with the song. How can I get the song to play its full length so I can do this?

You cannot play audio if there is no video to go along with it and that is why the audio stops at 5 secs. If you want the audio to play for the full 3 minutes you have to adjust the duration of your photo(2) to last for 3 minutes.
