Sending My Movie To Others By Email

When i use the output to convert my movie into a email it seems to work ok. when it is received by others they can't open it because there computer dosn't have the right program. It seems it will only open if you have roxio on your computer through emails. What can i do to attach my movie to an email to be sent out and on the other end they can open it.

Name the application your using, be specific "When i use the output" ?

 

Is that Roxio EMC 9 version or Roxio EMC 2009 version?

I am using (Roxio Creator & My DVD 9.0 Premier) this is waht is on the installation disk.

 

I go to the area of roxio where you can view the story line etc. Under file I click on output as. Yhis takes me to a section that says Make Movies, under destination i click Email, there are several other choices such as Video , TV/ ETC. Then I click on Create Video File. This pulls up a preview of gthe movie in fast action and creates the Email file. In the one of the section it has a pull down screen that says Video File Quality, it is already on Windows Media Video, 9 160x120 VBP.

 

After the movie is on a file and saved to my Desktop i can click on properties and it pulls up- Type of file (.wmv) and Opens with Roxio Media Capture, there is a link beside this that is named change. I f i click on this it takes me to a window that has recommended programs roxio media capture and Windows Media Player Microsaoft Corporation. I can also click on browse which takes me to my program files which has a varity of files on my computer. Not everyone has the same programs to open a movie with what do i do?

I assume the program your using is MyDVD, since you won't tell me the name of the application your working in! Is it a bought Retail program or one that came preinstalled on the PC?

 

I've had wmv files created on older versions not wanting to play. What version of WMP are the folks your sending it to using? Can they save it to their desktop, click it to highlight it, then right click open with, and choose WMP?
