ggrussell
A little bit different than most Font managers. Font Frenzy can back up fonts and take a 'snapshot' of installed fonts to restore later. Can remove all fonts except those originally shipped with Windows XP or Vista, or to a previous snapshot. You can specify a folder where all removed fonts will be stored. Although XP and Vista handle more fonts better than previous Windows, having too many fonts installed can slow down boot up and some applications. Get Font Frenzy here What I have noticed is that of all the fonts I have on my computer, there are (guessing) probably 50% of them that all look alike but just with a different font name. I'd sure like a program that would find all these similarities and get rid of all of them except maybe a couple. I guess one could go through the entire list and delete the ones you don't want, but that would take way to much time. Frank...
