Roxio 2009 Ultimate And Vista

All, I have read requirements for Roxio 2009 Ultimate and it says Vista Basic. I just ordered a new desktop with Vista Premium SP1. Is only Vista Basic supported or does this work with Vista premium as well? Just not sure since the requirements seem to be so specific. Thanks for any help.

When you say it works with all Vista versions, do you include the 64 bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium? Microsoft indicates that it is compatible with the 32 bit version but does not know if it is compatible with the 64 bit version. Assuming that you say that it is compatible, please let me know the source of your information.

Thanks, I think. Could you elaborate on what you mean by sort of? Do you have the 64 bit Vista or are you just commenting based on hearsay? The most important application that I have is to edit my TiVo files and burn them to DVDs. Does that application work?

Thanks. I will look around. You appear to be loyal to Roxio since you have so many of their versions - as I do. My main application is to take my TiVo files, edit them and burn them to DVDs. Do you know of another application that will do it besides Roxio products? I've looked at Nero, but they don't seem to handle TiVo files.

the 'sort of' was summed up by Bruce - some people have it working without problems - others have problems. Basically, unless one of us uses the 64 bit Vista, we're just guessing

 

Tivo files - some work, others don't. Tivo have a nasty habit of using DSS on some of their broadcasts and you don't get the souind when you try to use those. That's down to Tivo and nothing will work on those

It works with XP and all Vista versions.

 

What you looked at was Roxio's bogus minimum requirements.
