Burning Problem When Trimming Audio

When I trim a song in the audio editor it reappears when I burn the DVD even though it is trimmed in my working copy on my pc. Help! This is most bizarre

When I trim a song in the audio editor it reappears when I burn the DVD even though it is trimmed in my working copy on my pc. Help! This is most bizarre

 

Not really bizarre but actually a design feature.

 

When in myDVD or Videowave select Tools/Options and the clear proxy files. See if that clears up your problem

 

When a audio clip is used in Videowave or myDVD a "copy" of the audio is made and stored in the proxy folder. Next time you load your project, myDVD or VW looks in the proxy folder for the audio file and if it finds it, it uses it instead of the original audio file. Therefore even though you made some modification to the original audio file, myDVD or VW will never see this modified file unless you first clear out the proxy file.

You could of course do your "trimming" of the audio in myDVD or VW with the benefit that the original audio file is not actually modified.
